Project 4/5 - Kerns

I knew I wanted to do a floral magazine but I wasn't sure how to create the elements I wanted. I ended up hand-drawing all the elements to give it the feel I was looking for. 

I wanted to keep the stories interesting and specific, so I made sure to find stories that reflected the magazine theme well that would keep the audience entertained. 

I chose a quote for the back of the magazine to add another fun element at the end.

I began to put floral elements underneath so that I could still have them on the page while making them more subtle. 

I added some text to the front to give it more of a magazine feel, without it being overdone. I also added a barcode to the back page for this same reason.
