Flyer 1.
- Good things include that it looks professional enough to be a school flyer or something to do with a toy store. The information is in one spot and is concise.
- It's a bit choppy in the way it was arranged and the there are too many colors that are contrasting too much. There are two orange colors that should just be one. The writing on the bottom is too small to read.
- The white background could be changed as well as the white sign the kid is holding. We like the use of the information in one place for ease of reading.
Flyer 2.
- The background color gives a sense of fullness and the information at the bottom is concise and in one area for reading. There are no empty spaces in the flyer which helps with giving the flyer a sense of completeness.
- The logo in the cloud seems out of place and the text in the middle appears too clumped. The y is touching the white bubble and the text stating "Upcoming Events" is almost off the page. The rainbow is too orange and the other colors are all confined to the top of the flyer and needs to be spread evenly across.
- We like the play vibe of it and the background gradient color of the blue.
Flyer 3.
- All of the colors are consistent throughout the flyer. The circles are consistent. The top of the image leads the viewer down the page, ending at the information center.
- Some of the text is bold while the other text to the right is smaller and difficult to read. The color choices aren't the greatest. The green and purple mix into mud. The half circle around the words "Invest in your people" should be turned so that it doesn't overlap the other circle.
- Consistency of color and the hierarchal information placement that leads the viewer down.
Flyer 4.
- Some good things are the bold colors and the pictures of the children allow as a focal point for understanding the purpose of the flyer - education.
- Colors are awful. No consistency of colors or room to breath for the information. The top kids head is cut off. The middle kid is too large compared to the other two. The "Call us" portion that is along the vertical left side looks awful.
- Nothing inspired us. Our eyes are going everywhere on the flyer and the colors are awful.
Flyer 5.
- The consistency of the flyer and there is not too much going on. There's a good focus point. The colors work together.
- There's too much emptiness in the text above the photo and the text is too small for the amount of empty space surrounding it. The squiggly patterns don't seem to work as well as the other colorful patterns in the flyer.
- I like the picture in the middle and the placement of it. The color of the background is great and the rectangular white frame, allows the composition fullness.
Flyer 6.
- Everything is readable and the color is consistent and rhymes with other colors. The font is great for "Valentines." The information text on top and on bottom look professional and like a movie poster. The hierarchy of Happy and Day while Valentines is on top gives Valentines the importance but also allows us to read Happy and Day.
- The bottom font becomes faded too much to the point you almost can't read it due to lack of contrast.
- The font type inspired us and the consistent color scheme and the information. The plane of the design is even and parallel divided equally down the plane.
Flyer 7.
- The colors of black and yellow contrast well. The white chalk design looks very professional and high class. The way the text was placed such as "Starters" and "House specials" were placed accordingly well. I like the large proportions of the yellow chef face and the different shapes work well together.
- The yellow hexagon looks a bit out of place in comparison to the round pizza circles.
- The chalk drawings are inspiring and the color scheme is a great choice. The placement of information is concise and good. The ingredients for pizza are along the borders with the pizza in the center - gives a professional pizzeria look.
